The end of In The Night Garden

Launched in 2007, In The Night Garden is watched in 35 countries and has string of merchandise to its name. To date, the BBC has sold about one million DVDs and four million cuddly toys based on the characters.
The BBC is to axe In the Night Garden for good.
The wildly popular children’s television programme – which has become must-see viewing for pre-school children – will not be commissioned for another series, despite its huge success.
